OVERTIME PROCEDURES

 1)         Call both captains together and do another coin toss (home team calls this flip) 2)         The winning captain can choose to be on offense or defense first (referee choose an endzone to go towards) 3)         Each team will start on the opposing 10 yard line and have 4 downs to score (unless they get an automatic first down penalty) 4)         After one team has their 4 downs (or scores), then the other team will have the same opportunity.  5)         On the first touchdown, teams may go for 1, 2 or 3 point conversions. 6)         After the first series (meaning each team has had the ball once), they must go for 2 or 3 point conversions after each touchdown. 7)         After the first series, the team that lost the coin toss has the option if they want to be on offense or defense for the next series.  8)         If the defensive team intercepts a pass and scores, the game is over. 9)         Each team has 1 timeout per series in the overtime period. There is no game clock, just the 25 second play clock.
